HOW TO CARE FOR 18K GOLD VERMEIL JEWELRY:

We use cultured pearls from oysters and freshwater mussels that we carefully select for our pieces.

Sterling Silver
925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. We plate our silver jewelry in rhodium, which gives it extra shine and durability. Rhodium is one of the costliest precious metals due to its rarity. All of our sterling silver pieces are stamped with “925”.

Enamel
Enameling is a technique in which a glossy substance, traditionally a type of glass, is applied to the surface of metal or another hard surface. Traditional enamel is glass-based; however, we use cold enamel—also known as epoxy resin enamel—which does not contain glass. This type is far more durable and resistant to chipping that may sometimes occur with daily wear.

Clean your enamel jewelry with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

This material can be damaged if exposed to a direct flame or harsh chemicals, such as perfume and nail polish remover.

- Do you have a warranty?
With our warranty, we’ve got your back! For two years from the date of purchase, we’ll take care of your product if any damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs.
We’re confident in the quality of our product hence the 2-year coverage. The warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear (like a bent ring or broken chain), improper use or storage of your product or any modification to your product done by a third party outside of Chato.
- Do the items rust?
No, 925 silver does not rust. What you will get on silver is tarnishing effect - this is where the silver goes black due to copper inside reacting with air humidity. Things such as bleach, chemicals, and hair sprays can speed up the tarnishing effect. When storing your silver, always put a small piece of chalk (like children's drawing chalk)/charcoal in with your jewelry as it will soak up the humidity and keep your silver shiny!
